Vanda Colman Obituary

Vanda B. Colman 1920 - 2008 Vanda Bem Colman, born in San Francisco Dec. 1920, passed in the early afternoon Oct. 18 in Pt. Reyes, CA, peacefully, surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Stanislaw and Eugenia Bem and survived her husband Thomas A. Colman who died in 1992. She was a concert pianist who graduated and taught at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She also received a degree from Dominican University in San Rafael, CA. She is survived by her daughter Gail Moscoso (Victor); beloved grandchildren Justin "Justo" Moscoso and Lilah Moscoso Collins (Sean); and her cherished great- grandchildren Ava and Natalie Collins. She also is survived by her son Thomas A. Colman Jr. of Laytonville, CA. In lieu of flowers Vanda requested contributions in her name to the A.C.L.U. or the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

Grandma,
I love you so much and you will always be forever missed! You were always so loving, supportive and generous to me and I want to thank you so much for that. May all the love and peaceful energy surround you and keep you warm and safe. You will forever live in my dreams.
