To the Weiland family,
It's been thirteen years since I had worked with Walter at PWD & I can still hear his laughter. He was a very kind and special person & he will be deeply missed by all that he touched.

To Karen and the Wieland family,
I'm very sorry and sadden to hear of your lost.
Walt brought alot of joy and laughter to everyone he met.
I'll always remember the pay per view boxing, wrestling and the football games every Sunday.
I'll treasure coming to work knowing he'll be there for laughs and cracking a smile.
We've lost a good friend!

Walter was always one of my favorite people, even when he worked for the competition. He always had a smile on his face and was always trying to help in any way he could. I loved walking through the warehouse hearing Walter mumbling about anything and everything. We were blessed to get him first at Cresta and then at Pacific.
His presence was missed the day he moved to Sacramento. His memory will live on forever.

I had the pleasure of working with Walter for a few years at Pacific Automotive. Over those years, Walter and I bacame good friends. Walter, you were one of the most reliable and positive men I ever met. You had a definite knack to turn, which seemed to be very bleak and stressful days into positive and hilarious days. I will truly miss that. My wife will sorely miss cooking those occasional lunches for you, which you then raved to her about, making her feel like a queen. You were a great co-worker and a true friend. You will be sorely missed. Deepest sympathy to the family.

Since I was a little girl, "Uncle Walt" always was happily humming his tunes and reading the newspaper behind the counter at work - always joking and happy. Thanks for the great memories.

Walter- I'll alway remember your self amusing way of working. Just hearing your laughter, your singing and most of all wiggling as you walked away. I know your in GOOD Hands. May your journey be a joyful one.

My Uncle Wally was a great guy. He was usually quiet and reserved, but always made his presence known with his silly voices, imitations and phrases. I will never forget all of those hours he spent gardening at his house in Brisbane and how natural he felt when he was outdoors; he was so proud of his tomatoes!

I'm sure my mom and grandma are glad to finally be reunited with Wally in heaven.

We will all miss Uncle Wally and have fond memories of him.

Walter - I will miss your GREAT radio announcer voice. You were ALWAYS upbeat and brought a simile to all around you. One of the most optimistic people I've ever met - you taught me that it IS possible to dance in the rain! Have a peaceful rest.

Uncle Wally, you were always in a good mood and always made those around you smile. You had so many funny sayings that lifted the spirits of those in your presence. I can still remember you making the trumpet noises and saying so many funny things. "Yucca Flats" and "Old Rattlesnake" were two of my favorites. I loved the way you talked out of the side of your mouth when you were saying something funny. Your lighthearted and humorous attitude was very comforting, making you a very easy person to be around. You were a good man and will be greatly missed.
