With shock I discovered that William Last (Billser) had passed. Our legal careers intersected again and again for over 35 years. He was the greatest attorney I have ever met and he always could pull a rabbit out of a hat. He dearly loved his family. He enjoyed life and the practice of law. Good-by Bill, thank you for all I learned from you.

Bill was an integral and knowledgeable member of the construction industry! Many of us learned invaluable lessons from Bill through the Bay Area Chapter American Subcontractors Association, for which Bill & the firm were members for years. We will miss his smile and making us laugh. We all send our condolences to Bill's family and friends, our industry is forever grateful to Bill.

Tony and I traveled the world with Bunzo and Kathy. We admired how he could keep a walking map in his mind of wherever we were going. We sheared lunch beers in Stockholm, Buenos Aries, Berlin and Candlestick Park. Bill was super smart, caring and humble. An irreplaceable friend who will be greatly missed. Our lives were better for having known him. My condolences to Kathy, Robert and Sally.

Tony and I traveled the world with Bunzo and Kathy; we always admired his ability to keep a map of where were walking in his head. We shared local beers at lunch in Buenos Aries, Berlin, Stockholm and Candlestick Park. He was generous, caring, and humble. An irreplaceable friend. In our last conversation he reminded me "that life is for the living". Bill certainly lived his life to the fullest measure. My condolences to Kathy, Robert and Sally.
