William Roache Obituary

Born January 17, 1928, Bill passed away peacefully at home on May 29, 2023, at the age of 95. He loved to say, "Laughter was the best medicine & we don't play enough."
Those who knew and loved him were blessed with joy and laughter when in his
company. Known for his numerous jokes (of questionable humor) that he repeated with glee because of his big heart, he had a gift of gab and could easily make a stranger into a new friend, then inviting them for his famous Irish coffee or happy hour on the porch.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Barbara and oldest son Michael.
He is survived by his son Paul B Roache MD . He will be missed by all!

When I was in High School at Notre Dame in San Jose, I dated Bill who was a boarder at Bellarmine. He was a great dancer and a lot of fun. Many good memories.

Bill was such a delight. I had the great pleasure of getting to know him while working at Archbishop Riordan high school. A very kind man and great support to the students. My deepest sympathy to his family.
