Andrew Rojas Obituary

In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Son a nd Brother ANDREW ROJAS Andrew Rojas, raised in Azusa, passed away October 11, 2003 at the age of 13. He was a student at Sierra Vista Middle School and has been an active member of the Azusa Youth Boxing Club for the last 3 years. He is survived by his father, Tomas Delgado; mother, Celia Godinez; step-father, David Godinez; brothers, Tomas, Dominic, and George; sisters, Sirena and Sofia; grandparents, Isauro and Celia Rojas, and Marta Delgado. A Vigil Prayer Service was held on Wednesday, October 15, 2003 and the Funeral (Liturgy) Mass will be held Thursday, October 16, 2003, 8:30 A.M. both at St. Frances of Rome Church, Azusa with the Rite of Committal to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Montebello. Contributions may be made to the Wells Fargo Bank, Memorial Fund for Andrew Rojas at any Wells Fargo Bank, #3852292857. White's Funeral Home, Azusa, 626-334-2921 assisting the family.

My heart goes out to the family. I worked with Andrew when he attended Ben Lomond and Covina El, and I will always remember his huge smile and curiousity. He always had a million questions or something to talk about. He will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
