When you don´t see someone for decades at a time, it can be easy to overlook the fact that you´ll never see them again in this life. But many memories from 50+ years ago remain vivid in the mind´s eye.

Woody and I were notorious for our irreverent sense of humor. We laughed a lot. I guess that´s why we made it into Lincoln´s Senior Hall of Fame. I wish I could remember the jokes as well as I remember the laughter!

Still hard to believe. It is a month today that you left the planet. I know you are laughing with your parents - dancing with the galaxies - bragging about your babies. We laughed and argued and had some crazy times. My facebook feed seems so dreary now. You left your family with many good lessons, memories and lots of loving moments. Those memories are the best treasure a person can hope to gain. Well done sir, well done.

We were long time customers who will truly miss this man. Most people don't look forward to visits to their mechanic, dentist, doctor or automotive AC repair man, but Woody's smile, his laugh, his energy made our visits fun and enjoyable. I once told him I loved loquats and was eyeing his tree, he immediately got a bag and we started picking the fruit! We worried and prayed for him when his illness returned and now we mourn his loss. Our thoughts prayers and condolences to his family. We learned of his passing to late to attend his services but please know he meant a great deal to us.

As a long time customer, I can truly say I will miss his counsel and friendship. I just had him work on my old Toyota, but had no idea his issues were at this point. We had diseases in common so could commensurate well into the afternoon. I would have been at the service if I had not just (1/30) found out. My most sincere condolences to his family.

You are gone way too soon. Although I haven't seen you for many years I remember what a nice guy you were and how you always loved your family so much. Sending my love to Denice and your entire family. Rest well, Woody.
