Lucia Pierce Obituary
Lucia Pierce passed away on November 14, 2013 surrounded by her family. Born in Seattle on February 25, 1931. Daughter of Joseph and Lucia McCormick. Ninth of eleven children.
Graduated from West Seattle High School. Married Don Pierce on October 10, 1953. Retired from the Boeing Company and volunteered at the Museum of Flight. She enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, playing cards, watching the Mariners and Seahawks games and spending time with family and friends. She's survived by her two daughters and son, Pam (Dave), Brad (Sherrie), and Julie (Steve). Grandchildren Linsey, Kelsey, Kirsten, Danny, Olivia and her best friend Al. She was a loving and giving sister, mother, grandmother and friend. She was adored by many. We all love you and you will be missed greatly. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association in her behalf.

Lucia was a good friend. I will always remember her pleasant, caring and loving manner. We had many good times together including Al such as playing cards, going to dinner, and social occasions. She was so gracious such as offering her home to me to stay when I was in town, which I had the pleasure of doing with her several times. I remember when she and Al assisted me all day at a photo sale in Tacoma. I will miss her very much.

My aunt Lucia (sis) was as kind and considerate as a person could be. You were always greeted by her great smile! Good person and a wonderful aunt who will be missed................
