Robert Romo

1953 - 2016

Robert 'Bob' Romo beloved brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend passed away at the age of 62. He was born in Covina, Ca. and raised in Azusa by Frank and Cora Romo. He was a member of the Azusa P.D. Explorers, and was a Glendora P.D. Auxiliary Officer. His love of music led to the formation of the New Creation Band, and later joined his brothers in the Romo Brothers Band. He created Romo Entertainment, where he would use his DJ talents to entertain and celebrate life. He was known for his quirky humor and willingness to be a dance partner. Bob was a devout educator for several years. A caring, warm and kind individual, his greatest attribute was being a dedicated family man. He had a great love for his family. He thought of others before himself. Bob is survived by his two brothers, Richard and Albert Romo, his sister Yolanda Romo Rodriguez, countless nephews, nieces, and cousins. A rosary will be held in his honor on August 29th at 7:00 p.m. at Oakdale Memorial Park, in Glendora. A funeral mass will be held on August 30, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Francis Church in Azusa. The burial to follow at Oakdale Memorial Park.
