Warren Walter Obituary

Warren Walter passed away on 6-8-22. He was born on June 12, 1933 to Oria and Ruby Walter in Oakdale, CA. Warren attended Oakdale High school and Modesto Junior College. In 1953 he was drafted into the Army and served at Fort Lewis, Washington and Alaska. Following two years in the military he was hired by American Trust Company, the predecessor to Wells Fargo Bank. He worked in Modesto and other Northern California offices in operations and branch management. In 1974 the bank transferred him to Southern California where he specialized in real estate and development loans. Warren retired in 1997, having been with the bank for 42 years. In retirement he and his wife Karen enjoyed traveling to many countries, He continued to keep busy gardening, volunteering at his church, solving Sudoku puzzles and driving for the Meals on Wheels program. Warren was a member of The Glendora Community Church for 51 years. He served on the board and varous other committees. His hope is that he will meet his loved ones who are with the Lord Jesus Christ. He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Erna and his brother Terry. He is survived by his wife, Karen of 54 years, his sister Patricia Bordona (Julian), sons Rodney, Mark (Dena), and Joel (Laura), daughter Deborah Smith (Jeff), six grand children and four great granddaughters.
