Bersch, Annette R.

Annette R. Bersch, age 70, of Sheboygan, went to her heavenly home on Monday, May 6, 2013 at Froedtert Community Memorial Hospital in Wauwatosa, WI. She was born in Sheboygan on May 24, 1942 the daughter of the late John and Goldie Obbink Wondergem.

Annette attended local schools and graduated from the last class of Sheboygan Central High School in 1960. On June 17, 1961, Annette was united in marriage to Leo Bersch at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Annette was a full-time homemaker and took great pride in raising her six daughters.

Annette was an active member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and served the Lord by playing in the Hand Bell Choir. She enjoyed baking, art and craft projects, painting, and spending time with her Red Hat friends. She was an accomplished bowler and was a member of the Sheboygan Bowling Hall of Fame. Annette was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks and Little League Baseball.

Survivors include her husband, Leo Bersch; six daughters, Pamela Ourada, Sandra (Kurt) Spatt, Karla (Ross) Saeger, Donna (Larry) Krueger, Rebecca (Jay) Gonia, all of Sheboygan, Brenda (Phillip) Ulmen, of Waukesha; fifteen grandchildren, Allyssa, Kayla, Joshua, Samantha, Kasey, Mark, Jenna, Adrianna, Jordan, Evan, Ryan, Adam, Elias, Gray and Phynn and her two great-grandchildren, Pierson and Carson. Annette is further survived by her two sisters, Jean (Marko) Zagar, Marilyn (Hank) Kalkopf, both of Sheboygan; two brothers, Adrian (Ann) Wondergem, of Sun Prairie, Gary (Ann) Wondergem, of Elkhart Lake and her sister-in-law, Mary Green, of Sheboygan. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother and sister-in-law, John and Dee Wondergem.

Family and friends may call at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan on Wednesday evening, TODAY, May 8, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. and on Thursday morning from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M. A funeral service for Annette will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Marcus Powers officiating. Entombment will take place at the Garden Terrace Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Annette's name. A heartfelt thank you is extended to Dr. Brauer, Dr. Haller and the staff at St. Nicholas Hospital and Froedtert Community Memorial Hospital.
