Dear CarolRoot and daughters: I happened to be researching the descendants of Joseph Root Esq. (1713-1786)who married my sixth Great Grandmother, Mary Warner (1724-1813) in 1782 after his long marriage to Abigail Bridgeman (1712-1781) and by sheer accident found the obituary of your son, Ben Joseph Root listed in the Sheboygan Press I wouldn't have given it much thought had I not also happened to have grown up in Sheboygan. The lengthy family genealogy led me right to you, which I found to be a remarkable coincidence! I send you my sincere condolences and best regards to your entire family and celebrate the very remote connection. Rev. Hugh W. Evans, hwevans

I just happened to have been researching the descendents of Joseph Root Esq (1713-1786)who married my 6th Great granmother, Mary Warner (1724-1813) after a lengthy marriage to Abigail Bridgeman {1712-1781). I wouldn't have given it much thought except my computer took me straight to the obituary of your late son, Ben Joseph Root, listed in the Sheboygan Press back in 2014. It is a sheer coincidence that I also grew up in Sheboygan and moved to New England following graduation from North High and the University of Wisconsin. I send you and your family sincere condolences and best regards. The genealogical tables listed on the Reinold/Novak site were very helpful. Sincerely, Rev. Hugh W. Evans, Chelmsford, MA, [email protected].
