David A. Stoelb

Sheboygan - David A. Stoelb, 60, husband, best friend, brother and son, mentor, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, surrounded by loved ones.

David was born on August 27, 1958, in Sheboygan, to George and Elaine Stoelb. He was a graduate of Sheboygan North High School, class of 1976. On September 1, 1986, he married Lori Bartz, in Denver, Colorado. He was previously employed at Spartech/Poly One in Sheboygan Falls, prior to his illness.

David had a great sense of humor, loved to play cribbage, he was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed bow hunting, fishing of any kind or just walking/biking the trails. He enjoyed any kind of woodworking and making his own furniture pieces. He enjoyed working with his hands on projects for friends and family. He will be deeply missed.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Elaine Stoelb; one brother, G. Timothy (Joyce) Stoelb; three sisters, Victoria (Michael) Moran, Catherine (Duane) Hendricks, Carrie Williams; in-laws, Calvin and Betty Dahl; sisters-in-law, Lynn Bartz and Robin Passmore; brother-in-law, David Bartz; four very special nephews, Christopher, Daniel, Dante, Nick, and very special friend, Neil Dahmer. He is further survived by other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, George Stoelb.

A private funeral service will be held prior to visitation on Wednesday, October 17th, 2018 at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan, with Rev. Gregory Whelton officiating. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

A memorial fund has been established in David's name.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, for all their love, care and compassion they gave to David.
