Donald Batt Obituary

Batt, Donald Mark Sr.

Donald Mark Batt was born on July 14, 1954 to the late Frank and Lorraine Batt and passed away peacefully at home after a 19 year courageous battle with cancer surrounded by his loving family on July 22, 2016 at the age of 62. He attended local schools in Sheboygan. On December 17, 1976 he was united in marriage with Babrbara Mallmann in Sheboygan. During his working years he was the owner/operator of DMB Trucking (where he took pride in building the Sheboygan Marina) and was employed by Batt's Roofing in Sheboygan and Milwaukee, worked various factories jobs and retired from Waste Management. Donny enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and fast cars (especially his Corvettes). He was even able to build a cabin up north for his wife where they spent all of their free time. Donny loved his dogs, enjoyed the company of his wife, children, brothers and nephew, Josh and was looking forward to the birth of his first great-grandson.

Donny is survived by his wife of 39 years, Barbara; children, Donald M. Jr. (special friend Rachel), Daniel M. (Melissa) and their children, Devlin (special friend Gema), Caleb, and Jaden, and Dawn M. (Adam) Austin and their children, Tyler and Alex; brothers, Frank Jr. and his children, Jason (Jody), Bridget (David), Frank III, Josh and Fallon, and Dennis (Barb) and their children, Jessica (Brian), Dennis Jr. (Janel) and Miranda (Jerry Lee); nephews, Mike (Rachel) and the late Tony (Hollie); nieces, Lisa and Shelia; brothers-in-law, Michael, Tom, Tim, and John; sisters-in-law, Candy and Penny and their spouses. Donny is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leon; infant grandson, Justin and nephew, Tony.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and will continue on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials in Donny's name are appreciated.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Donny, Rachel, Danny, Melissa, Dawn, Adam and nurse, MaryAnn from Aurora VNA for the care they gave to Donny.

Dennis,I am so sorry about your brother Donnie, we all knew each other since grade school, and lived a block away from each other. My condolences to the whole family.
