Eileen Stevens Obituary
Eileen M. Stevens, age 94, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, June 6, 2016 at St. Francis Home. She was born on December 26, 1921 in Lomira, WI, the daughter of Arthur and Ethel (Farrington) Priest. She was a 1939 graduate of Lomira High School. On February 8, 1946 she married Lester J. Stevens in Appleton, WI. He preceded her in death in January of 1987.
Following high school Eileen received a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She then went on to attend the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where she received a Master's Degree. She was a business education instructor at the following schools: Little Wolf High School in Manawa, WI, Shiocton High School, Woodworth Junior High School in Fond du Lac, and Campbellsport High School. She also was an office manager at Herbst Shoe Company in Lomira.
Eileen was affiliated with the Wisconsin Retired Educator's Association, Fond du Lac Retired Educator's Association, Linettes Line Dancing Group, Red Hat Society, Oakgreen Golf League, and a member of Delta Sigma Chapter of Delta Pi Epsilon.
SURVIVORS: one son, Duane "Dewey" (Nancy) Stevens of Keshena, WI/Davenport, FL; three grandchildren, Amy (Shaun) Murphy of Sheboygan Falls, WI, Anthony "Tony" (Janet) Stevens of Sun Prairie, WI, Angela Stevens, Davenport, FL; four great-grandchildren, Brady Stevens, Logan Murphy, Conner Murphy, and Riley Stevens; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Wesley Priest; one sister-in-law, Laverne Priest.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow the service at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Eileen's name.

Our deepest sympathy to Dewey and family at the loss of your mom. It is always hard to say good bye to a mother. Mrs. Stevens also taught Joei @ Campbellsport High School and used those skills in her careers. God's Peace.
