Howard Klein Obituary
Howard J. Klein, age 74, of the Town of Sherman, passed away unexpectedly (April 27) at his home early Saturday afternoon.
He was born on June 25th, 1938 in Plymouth, WI, a son of the late James and Agnes Grohs Klein.
Howard attended Adell grade schools and graduated from Waldo High School in 1956.
He served in the United States Navy from 1957-1962 serving on the U.S.S. Saratoga.
Howard was employed as an Auto Tech and Transmission specialists for several car dealerships in the area including: Cornell Motors in Plymouth, Adell Ford, Loyal Ford in New Holstein, Thunder Truck and Auto in Sheboygan and for the Co-op Garage in Sheboygan Falls.
He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Random Lake and also belonged to the Adell Lions Club over 30 years serving in many of the offices in the club. Howard also belonged to the United Orchestra Leaders Association.
He was the lead, playing the tuba, for his well-known band, Happy and the Polkateers, but could play any instrument given to him. He enjoyed listening to polka music any time.
Survivors include: One son: James Klein of Plymouth, One brother: Francis (Diane) Klein of the Town of Sherman, Nephew: Kris Klein (special friend: Lisa Reeder) of the Town of Sherman
Also survived by nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Memorial services will be held on Friday evening (May 3) at 6:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. Donald Niederfrank, pastor of St. John United Church of Christ in Random Lake will officiate. Cremation has taken place.
Friends and relatives can call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth from 4:00 P.M. on Friday until the time of services.
The Plymouth VFW World Cheese Center Post # 5612 will conduct military rites at the Funeral Home following the services.
A memorial fund is being established in Howard's name.

Sympathy to the Howard Klein family. I remember the first day that Howard and others from the country came to Adell Grade School. We played football without pads and Howard an old farm boy was hard to pull down. Sounds like he lived a good life. God Bless.
