John Valukas Obituary
Sheboygan - John James Valukas, born Dec. 31, 1953 died of natural causes on September 5th, 2018 at his home. He was the son of Frank and Mary Ann (Brasaitis) Valukas who preceded him in death also a brother Mark who also preceded him in death. John was a student of life. He attended Rensselar Polytechnic School earning a Bachelor of Science Degree, he attended Marquette Dental University and UW-Madison. Recently John was considering devoting his life to his religion. John was a kind, intellectual man who would research issues that touched his heart in an effort to make a change in the world. He was a beloved fixture in Sheboygan usually seen in a suit coat, smoking a cigar and in deep contemplation. John is survived by relatives and friends and will be missed. John had a strong faith and will certainly find peace.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 11:00 am at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church with Rev. Matthew Widder as celebrant. Visitation will precede Mass at 10:00 am until time of service. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Please visit www.ballhornchapels.com to sign guestbook.

John, our moms were sisters. During one of their "perm" sessions we went out to the pond behind my house. I fell through the ice and you found a branch and reached out to me, I grabbed it and you pulled me to safety. Basically you saved my life! Love you, miss you, sorry we lost contact with each other over the years. My God hold you tight in his loving arms.

We were high school class mates. While we were not close friends, I do remember your gracious, polite ways. I also remember you were wicked smart. You were one of the really nice guys. You are missed. Rest in peace dear friend.

John attended the same church i do. I just distributed communion to him maybe 10 days before he passed. When I used to work at walgreens I would see him come in often to check the time or bye something to drink. Even though I didn't really know him personally or know him that long he was kind from what I've seen. I have also seen him walk around town. I know he will be missed by a lot of people. May his soul RIP.

I have passed John's path a number of times on walks. He was always in his suit, always had his cigar. He was usually quiet, kept to his self as he traveled to his destination. Every time I saw him, I greeted him with a Hi, hello, good morning, have a great day... I will certainly miss seeing him on my walks. May he be @ rest in his final destination, walking above us in Heaven with his Loved ones. My condolences going out to his Family and Friends.

I didn't know him personally, I've always seen him walking about near the Holy Name church and just around town. He was always dressed dapper with a big smile on his face. He will be missed.
