Randall Oehldrich Obituary

Oehldrich, Randall

Randall Oehldrich, 57, of Sheboygan passed away unexpectedly on the 20th of September, 2013, surrounded by family and friends.

Randy was born in Sheboygan on December 21st, 1955 to the late Reuben and Marion Holtz Oehldrich. Randy lived in Sheboygan all of his life and attended Lutheran grade school and North High School.

After high school Randy went to work at North Bowl lanes where he met his wife Pam. They were married in 1976 and they enjoyed 37 years together. Shortly after their marriage he went into the printing business and was most recently employed by Franzen Graphics for the past 25 years.

The people at Franzen Graphics were a special part of Randy's life.

Randy enjoyed traveling, going out to eat with friends, bowling and golfing with the guys and spending time cheering on his favorite teams. He enjoyed being a season ticket holder for the Green Bay Packers and never missed a game.

Randy's passion for Marquette men's basketball began in 1976. It started with just attending a few games and grew into a love for Marquette. During basketball season you were sure to see Randy and Pam at the Bradley Center cheering on the Blue and Gold.

Randy is survived by his wife Pam of 37 years, one sister Shirley ( Larry) Setzer, one brother Richard, a brother-in-law, Peter (Jennifer) Deubler, nieces Lisa( Vaughn)Verhulst, Annie (Brett) Buchmann, Grace Deubler, nephews Richard (Jennifer) Halverson, Greg ( Amy) Oehldrich, Gary ( Molly) Oehldrich, Luke Deubler, three aunts, cousins, father-in-law, Chester Deubler and many special friends. Randy is preceded in death by his parents, a mother-in-law, Delores Deubler, a sister-in-law, Cheryl Oehldrich.

A celebration of Randy's life will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at the Reinbold- Novak funeral home, 1535 South 12th Street, Sheboygan with Fr. Fred Zagone, officiating. A time of visitation and support will be held on Wednesday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 5:00 p.m. Entombment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Randy's name can be made to the Marquette Blue and Gold Fund and to the Marquette University Faber Center for Ignatian Spirituality Endowment Fund.

Dearest Pam,

I am heartsick at the fact that I am out-of-state in NY and cannot be there to give you huge hug and help in any way. I am sure the support of your family and countless number of friends, however, will ensure that a circle of love and comfort will surround you and assist in the present and the days ahead.

Randy was such a great and caring guy--I will miss him alot.

Prayers and peace.
