Dear Georgianna
I was very sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I lost my wife Joan ten years ago to breast cancer. The loss is a terrible burden, but it does become more bearable with time. I found my consolation in focusing on the wonderful forty-two years of love and joy that I was blessed to share with Joan rather than the pain of her passing. Dick was a great guy and very positive. He would want you to be happy rather than mourn his loss for the rest of your life.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Your husband and dad was a bigger than life presence in our neighborhood. I'll miss him golfing in the back yard and listening to Brewer and Packer games. I wish I could match his yard and lawn care standards. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Although I can't attend the service, I'll be there in spirit. Remembering you all with kindness and love.
