Mark, Schieble

Mark Schieble, 60, of 505 S. Water St. in Sheboygan, died Monday morning, October 19, 2015.

Born June 18, 1955 in Sheboygan, Mark was the son of Raymond and Joan (Soucheck) Schieble. He graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1973, and attended UW Sheboygan, and UW Green Bay. In 1978 a car accident left him with physical and cognitive disabilities.

Before the accident Mark worked as a chemist for the Kohler Company. He played soccer for UW Green Bay and enjoyed playing softball. He had a great sense of humor, and loved to joke around with the nurses at Golden Harbor. He was an avid Packer fan.

In addition to his mother Joan, Mark is survived by siblings, nieces and nephews: Thomas, Dunedin, FL, Heidi and Tina; Mary (Gregory) Kuhn, Sheboygan, Stephanie (David Hang) and Shelby; Michael (Stacy), Sheboygan, Mitchell; Steven, Sheboygan, Ian; James (Cindy), Sheboygan, Jenny (Aaron) Wensink, Jamie (Kurt) Van de Kreeke, and Jason; Sandra (Phillip) Hiebing, Rhinelander, Theresa (Jerry) Landwehr, Eric (Phyllis) Poleski, Lee (Joleen) Heibing, and Anna (Ryan ) Schmidt; and Lisa (Lloyd) Krief, Sheboygan Falls, Alex Grabowski and Jenna Budrick. He is further survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond in 1984.

Mark's funeral service will be on Thursday, October 22 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Eternal Light at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 6706 Superior Ave., Kohler. Deacon Rich Gullig will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service begins. Entombment will follow in the Greenlawn Mauseleum.

Mark's family extends their thanks to the staff, especially Terri at Golden Harbor Assisted Living for the care they gave Mark. A memorial fund has been established in his name. Services are under the care of the Olson Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

I took care of Mark for over 2 years while at Golden Harbor, his passing surprises and saddens me. I will forever remember his smirky grin and contagious laugh. He will truly be missed.
