Sheila Ann Hirschauer Hilt, 69, of Arden, SC passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.
Sheila was born on January 25, 1956 in Shelbyville, IN to the late John Richard Hirschauer (1988) and Dorothy Eileen Ford Hirschauer (2006). She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Jonathan Hilt (2014).
Sheila graduated from Shelbyville High School before attending Ivy Tech to pursue her Nursing Degree. She was affiliated with St. Joseph Catholic Church in Shelbyville, IN. Sheila enjoyed cross stitching, boating, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving Shelia are her children, Whitney Kincade (Chad) of Shelbyville, IN, Andrew Hilt of Greenfield, IN; sister, Sharon Kiefer (Dick) of Shelbyville, IN; brother, Dean Hirschauer of Shelbyville, IN; grandsons, Braiden Kincade (Amber Boring) of Waldron, IN, Nolen Kincade of Shelbyville, IN, Jonathan Maddox Hilt of Greenfield, IN; granddaughters, Amelia Hilt of Greenfield, IN, Brooklynn Kincade of Shelbyville, IN; and great granddaughter, Delilah Kincade of Waldron, IN.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date with family. Sheila will be laid to rest at the Whispering Hope Cemetery Shelbyville Indiana
