Send FlowersSamuel Kane "Sam" Robertson, 27, of Shelbyville passed away Friday, November 7, 2025, at MHP Medical Center.
He was born November 18, 1997, in Shelbyville to Matthew E. Robertson and Erin R. (Slagle) Harmon.
Sam graduated from Shelbyville High School with the class of 2016. He was a member of Synergy while attending high school. While in Synergy, his personality flourished and he made many friends and enjoyed performing. He worked at Papa John's for a few years before starting at BP Doc's Shop in Shelbyville.
Sam was an avid sports fan and was knowledgeable about most sports. His favorite was football, and he enjoyed watching all the games. He also enjoyed watching WWE and listening to music of all genres. Sam recently found his Faith in God. His favorite times were spent with his family and close friends.
Sam is survived by his mother, Erin Harmon (husband, Scott); his sisters, Tatum Robertson, and Amelia Harmon; his paternal grandparents, Lisa and Allen Lay; his paternal grandfather, Larry Robertson; his maternal grandmother, Linda Gum; his aunt, Holly Robertson (Wendell Stewart); his uncle, Brian Slagle (wife, Missy); and his cousins, Cody Slagle, Brayden Stewart, Leila Stewart, Joel Stewart, Camdyn Lay, and Ethan Lay.
He was preceded in death by his father, Matthew; his aunt, Shelley Robertson; his maternal grandfather, Joe Slagle; and his maternal step-grandfather, Robert Gum.
Visitation will be Friday, November 14, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.
Funeral services follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Andy Lee officiating.
Private family graveside services will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery.
