Tyson Edward Stephens, 38, of Greensburg, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023 at MHP Medical Center.
Born on December 9, 1984 in Shelbyville, he was the son of Russell Stephens and Kimberly (Kuhn) Stephens.
Survivors include his father Rusty and stepmother Tracy Stephens of Geneva, mother Kim Smith (husband Terry) of Shelbyville; 4 children- Gracie Stephens of Greensburg, Olivia Stephens of Shelbyville, Ava Collins of St. Paul, Rylee Stephens of Greensburg; 3 siblings- Sarah Martin (husband Jeff) of Shelbyville, Brianna Sanchez of Geneva, and Melissa Collins of Shelbyville. He was preceded in death by his sister Katrina Collins, grandfather Donovan Kuhn. and great grandmother Norma Stanley.
Mr. Stephens was a lifetime resident of this area and attended Shelbyville High School.
Tyson was tractor service director for Rural King for 6 years. He was an avid hunter, and enjoyed pitching horseshoes. He was a very outgoing people person, and loved playing practical jokes.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road. Burial will be in Van Pelt Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday morning from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to American Heart Association, in care of the funeral home.
