Bill Lovelace Sr. Obituary

SHELBY - Mr. William "Bill" Lovelace Sr.,68, died Sunday, April 11, 2010, in his home.
A native of Cleveland County, he was a son of the late James Edmond Lovelace Sr. and Hester May McSwain Lovelace Justice. He retired from the U S Postal Service, where he was a rural carrier for 30 years. He was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church and was an avid carp fisherman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Brittney Lovelace; and sister, Docia Ann Lovelace.
Mr. Lovelace is survived by his wife, Betty Piercy Lovelace of the home; sons, Billy Lovelace of Kannapolis and Robby Lovelace of Shelby; special daughter, Mary Piercy of Shelby; brother, Ed Lovelace and wife, Hazel, of Shelby; sisters, Millie Whitaker and husband, Elmer, of Shelby and Madeline Queen and husband, Bob, of Shelby; granddaughters, Chasity, Amber, and Taylor; and grandson, Aaron.
Funeral: Wednesday, April 14, 2 p.m., Double Springs Baptist Church
Officiated by: The Rev. Bill Fryar
Visitation: The family will receive friends one hour before the service, in the family life center.
Burial: Double Springs Baptist Church Cemetery
