Charlotte Heavner Obituary
She was born in Gaston County on Feb. 3, 1947, a daughter of Margie Carpenter Beam of Cherryville and the late Harold Beam.
Mrs. Heavner was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was a 1965 Cherryville High School graduate.
Survivors include her husband, Freddie Manford Heavner of the home; two daughters, Wendy Meadows of Cherryville and Stephanie Hamrick and husband, Wray, of Shelby; three grandchildren, Lyndsey Meadows, Caleb Roberts, both of Cherryville and Cole Hamrick of Shelby; and one brother, Larry Beam.
Visitation: The family will receive friends Thursday, Oct. 9, 6 to 8 p.m., at Carpenter's Funeral Home.
Funeral: Friday, Oct. 10, 11 a.m., Mt. Zion Baptist Church
Burial: Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery
