Daniel Honeycutt Obituary
He was a native of Elizabeth City and was the son of Dan Honeycutt Sr. and his wife, Pat, of Shelby and his mother, Bettie Sue Pleasant Privott and her husband, Leon, of Elizabeth City. Daniel was a graduate of Kings Mountain High School and Limestone College. He was an avid sports enthusiast, golfer and was the owner of Gutter Guys, Inc. of Lowell. He was dearly loved and will be missed by his friends and family.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Susan Falls Honeycutt; daughter, Maggie Sue Honeycutt; stepson, Luke Bradley; stepbrother, Patrick Elmore; and stepsisters, Tiffany Barbee, Donna Gilbird and Debra Nichols.
Graveside Service: Thursday, July 1, 3 p.m., Evergreen "A Quiet Place" in Belmont
Celebration of Life Service: Following the graveside service on Thursday, 4 p.m., First United Methodist Church of Gastonia
Officiated by: Dr. James Westmoreland and Rev. Chris Westmoreland
Visitation: The family will receive friends following the celebration of life service, in the Family Life Center.

I cannot begin to say how saddened and shocked I am by Daniel's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I am very sorry for your loss and it seems especially tragic because of his age and being such a wonderful athlete, but mostly it seems unbearable because he was "just an all-around great guy". We never know what the grand plan will be for each and everyone of us. My deepest sympathy and condolences.
