Dick Rosberg Obituary
He was born in Chicago, Ill., on Feb. 13, 1925, to the late Elmer Gustave and Florence Bjork Rosberg. He was served in the Army, during World War II serving in the European Theater of Operations with the 102nd and 1st Infantry Division as a Medic Sergeant. He was awarded the Bronze Star and the Combat Medic Medal. Dick retired from Broward County Schools in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Olsby Rosberg; sister-in-law, Hazel Olsby; nieces and nephews, Alice Matthews of Garner, Luke Hege and wife, Kathy, and Vi Greene and husband, Dale, of Shelby; great-niece and nephews, Barry Matthews, Matt, Joel and Laura Hege and Drew and Patrick Greene.
Memorial Service: Wednesday, June 3, 11 a.m., Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home Chapel
Visitation: The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

DON'T SEE YOU MUCH EXCEPT WALKING THE DOGGIES BUT I ALWAYS KNEW YOU WERE THERE IF I NEEDED YOU. YOU DON'T NEED TO BE GOOD NEIGHBORS TO BE SEEN. I'M JUST A HOUSE ALWAY. WILL MISS SEEING DICK WALKING DOWN THE STREET EVERYDAY. YOU'RE IN MY PRAYERS.
