Dear Harriett and family,
I remain forever grateful to Don for his encouragement to me as a young land surveyor in training (many moons ago!). He was instrumental in getting me my first real job at the NCDOT in Charlotte where I was able to acquire much needed field work that counted towards my eventual licensure. My Dad, Gene Cox, also thought very highly of Don. I will never forget him, and how fortunate I was to have been one lowly recipient, among many, of his kindness.
Gratefully,
Amy Cox Harrelson

Sorry to hear of Don's passing. Such good memories at many conventions at SCSPLS - he will be remembered at our upcoming convention at our General Membership meeting with a moment of silence and thoughts shared by members. Take care. Don's life was truly a blessing to many.
