FOREST CITY-Jennifer Lynn Podeswik Baldwin, 35, went to be with the Lord Nov. 21, 2010, following a motorcycle accident.
Born Sept. 24, 1975, in Onondaga County, N.Y., she was a daughter of Debra J. Clement Hayes. She graduated Hannidal High School in 1993 and married James Baldwin in the same year. Jennifer earned her registered nursing degree from Isothermal College, Forest City, in 2008. After moving to Chicago, Ill. in 2010, she was employed by the India Fertility Clinic as a registered nurse. She was a very loving and kind hearted person. Jennifer was adventurous and loved living life to the fullest. She will be truly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lois Clement. She lives behind,James Baldwin; two children, Michael J. Baldwin and MaKayla L. Baldwin, both of Forest City; mother and stepfather, Debra and John Hayes of Syracuse, N.Y.; brother, Mark Coyne of Syracuse, N.Y.; grandfather, Warren Clement; stepsisters, Bonnie Direnzo and Connie Hayes and extended family and tons of friends.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Friday at Stamey FuneralHome
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel
Entombment: Rose Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum
Funeral home: Stamey Funeral Home of Fallston is serving the family
Memorials: In lieu of flowers donations may be made to James Baldwin, 302 Phillips Drive, Forest City, NC 28043 or to Debra Hayes 229 W. Irving Street, E.Syracuse, NY 13057 for Jennifer's two children

I still think of Jennifer often and what a bright light she was in my life and her bubbly, "all in" personality. I miss her to this day and think of her family, her children, especially, and how much she loved them.
She was a dynamic, smart, fun, empathetic person and a good nurse who loved learning and helping those in her care. It was a blessing to have her as a friend!

We have only just received this devestating news. We can't believe that this has happened to beautiful Jennifer. It seems not too long ago that Pastor performed her wedding. To the entire Baldwin and Hayes families, you are very good friends to us and we are crying with you at this time. I will always have fond memories of Jennifer and will miss knowing she might give me a call or send me an email and let me know what new thing she's doing. I got to know her just before we started nursing school together and we became good friends and were part of a small study group for those two years. She was always willing and able to help me with computer questions since she was a whiz at that. We kept in touch after graduation and I had hoped that we always would. My heart goes out to all who loved Jennifer and who will miss her great smile, quick wit, and positive outlook! She had a great way of bringing humor to otherwise challenging times! Miss you, Jen! So sorry for this families terrible loss. I meet Jennifer last year at a toy run in Kings Mountain, NC. She was a very nice person. My prayers for her family and for her children.
