Jerry Ellis Obituary

SHELBY - Mr. Jerry Eugene Ellis, 66, of 206 College Ave., died Wed. Oct. 19, 2011, at Carolina's Medical Center.
A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Clayton and Mary Waters Ellis. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and retired from Kosa as a supervisor.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Ellen Emory Ellis; daughter, Angela Seals; grandson, Peyton Seals, all of the home; four brothers- and sisters-in-law, Ronnie Emory and wife Judy, Rachel Proctor and husband Phillip, Ann Keller and husband Robert, Joyce Bridges and husband Charles, all of Shelby; and sister, Toni Humphries and husband Dan of Shelby
Visitation: The family will receive friends Friday one hour prior to the service, at the church and other times at the home.
Services: 4p.m. Friday at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church

Burial: Church Cemetery
