Robert Weathers Obituary
A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Ernest and Margie Weathers.
He served in the Army, worked as an electrician at Doran and Moire, and was a member of Davidson Memorial Baptist Church. He loved fishing, as well as his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sylvia Turner Weathers, of the home; two daughters, Tammy Skaggs and husband Sheldon of Gastonia, and Bobbie Williamson and husband Trey of Mills River; three grandchildren, Brittany and Nicholas Skaggs, and Dax Williamson.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby.
Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Monday at Davidson Memorial Baptist Church
Officiated By: The Rev. Danny Phillips
Burial: Cleveland Memorial Park
