Thomas Cyprian Obituary

SHELBY-Thomas Cyprian Jr. 73, of 1111 Stanton Drive, departed this life on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center, Shelby.
He was born July 22, 1937, in Bogalusa, La., to the late Thomas Cyprian, Sr. and the late Rosa Britton.
He was retired from the Air Force having served for twenty years. He later relocated to Cleveland County where he worked and subsequently retired from the Employment Security Commission in Kings Mountain, NC.
He was also a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Marcus and Mattie Watts.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Huchinson Cyprian; two sons, Anthony Cyprian of Atlanta, Ga. and Marcus Cyprian of Gastonia; one daughter, Sheila Towns (Ronald) of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, Wesley Cyprian (Patricia) of Angie, La.; one grandchild, Cameara Fowler (Shelby) of Memphis Tenn.; one great-grandchild, Cameara Maria Delane Fowler also of Memphis; an aunt, Annie Sandifer of Chicago, Ill.; a sister-in-law, Helen Rout of Stone Mountain, Ga. and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation: The family will receive friends 4-4:30 p.m. Saturday at the church
Funeral: 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Mount Calvary Baptist Church
Officiated By: The Rev. M. Lamont Littlejohn
Burial: Sunset Cemetery
Funeral home: Enloe Mortuary is serving the Cyprian family
