Ann Wajdowicz Obituary

Ann Wajdowicz, age 90, of Shelton entered into rest on Wednesday, Oct 9, 2013 at Bishop Wicke Health Center with her loving family by her side

She was the devoted wife of the late Roman Wajdowicz Mrs Wajdowicz was born in Union City on June 22, 1923 daughter of the late Stanley and Stella Biernacki and was a Derby resident for most of her life

She loved to travel with her husband, and enjoyed playing poker with her friends for over 50 years Most of all, she was a loving caregiver for her family

She is the beloved mother of James Wajdowicz and his wife Faith, loving grandmother of Dana Nickleach, Jamie Norcott, Matthew Wajdowicz, and Erica Laton, great grandmother of Elli Nickleach and Eva Laton Mrs Wajdowicz is also survived by her devoted and loving niece Nancy Halwick and several other nieces and nephews She is predeceased by her brothers, Joseph, Leonard, Edward, and Raymond Biernacki , and sisters, Helen Biernacki, Alice Stepnowski, and Henrietta Butwell On Wednesday, friends are invited to go directly to St Michael Church, 75 Derby Ave, Derby for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM Her burial will be held at 12:00 pm in St James Cemetery, Cross St, Naugatuck

The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to Bishop Wicke Health Center, 584 Long Hill Ave, Shelton CT 06484 The Edward F Adzima Funeral Home has been entrusted with her arrangements Friends may leave condolences at wwwadzimafhcom
