Carol Roberto Obituary

Carol (Vassallo) Roberto, age 68, of Shelton, beloved wife of Richard Roberto, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2013 in Griffin Hospital

Born in Stamford on November 8, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Latte) Vassallo

She retired from Unilever as a Human Resource Coordinator after 20 years of service In her retirement, she worked full time for the Center of Women and Families of Eastern Fairfield County

She enjoyed gardening, traveling and volunteering

In addition to Richard, her husband of 44 years, survivors include twin sons, Marc Roberto and his wife Lauren of Shelton and Brian Roberto of Derby, a brother, Charles Vassallo and his wife Beverly of Oxford, a sister, Cornelia Vassallo of Stamford as well as many nieces and nephews

Friends and relatives may call at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull on Saturday, November 30, 2013 from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm A Memorial Service will take place at 1:00 pm in the funeral home Interment will be private at the convenience of the family

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Center for Women and Families of Eastern Fairfield County, 753 Fairfield Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06604
