Me and Jaramie grew up together as kids we lived near each other pretty far out in the country which can be boring for a kid/teenager but we always had fun riding bikes and 4 wheelers, fishing often entertaing ourselves at my younger brother and sisters existence but he was like another older brother to them he loved my moms spaghetti and was always there for dinner on spaghetti night (which was so often I rarely if ever eat spaghetti by choice any more) Jaramie was one of my best friends growing up and although we went different ways in life I often thought about him most recently was ironically just a couple weeks ago when I saw an old VW bug for sale along the road. He was already missed even more now My sympathy to his family

My soul hurts today as I read this. Every personality trait listed sparked a memory of him displaying that trait. Jaramie started out as my older brother's friend in high school. He quickly became part of our family. He was like my brother, another son to my mom, and an honest, present and trustworthy friend to my brother, Rod. He sang to me once when I thought my heart was broken, stood up for me when a guy was saying bad stuff about me, let me call him Germ (secretly he enjoyed that), he called my mom, "Mom". His smile was always genuine especially when he'd be talking about one of his VW Rabbit finds. As we all grew up, got married and started our own families we grew apart. I think about our care free days often as I get older, I miss them as I have missed Jaramie over the years. His family are in my thoughts and prayers. I rest easy knowing that my mother, Lori, was there to greet him at the gates. Time goes by so fast, I thank you, Jaramie, for many things but most of all for making this world better just by living in it.
