Lou Sellon Obituary

Lou Ann Sellon, 74 of Branch, formerly of Wellston, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Born September 12, 1950, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Lou was the daughter of Arthur and Ann (Peterson) Sellon. Lou graduated from Mason County Eastern, Class of 1969.

Lou was cheerful and very kindhearted, always trying to help people out if she could. Even with that cheerful personality, she would snap hard at you if pushed enough. She really like her Grandma Peterson's saying, "it's a great life if you don't weaken," and would repeat it often.

She had always been fond of horses, attending many shows and winning many trophies. Barrel Racing was one of Lou's best events. Her and her horse Bell made some people just pack up and go home, but she was just having fun. Lou loved her farm, her family, and her friends.

Lou is survived by her son Joshua (Dawn) Dodge; daughter Angie Cooper; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Ann Sellon and her daughter Jennifer Dodge.

No services are being held at this time.

Arrangements were entrusted to Grace Funeral Home and Cremation Services (formerly Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington). www.GraceCremations.com.
