Maribeth Nettleman Obituary
April 6th, 2024. Born on August 3rd, 1944, in Gladwin, Michigan, she was the cherished daughter of
Vernon Leroy Draggoo and Harriett (Davis) Draggoo.
Maribeth led a remarkably fulfilling life, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. A
devoted mother, she poured her heart into nurturing her sons and took immense joy in watching them
grow into men. Her dedication extended beyond her family, as she found her calling as an educator, a
cognitive therapist, and a real estate professional. Known for her exceptional grace, kindness, and
pragmatic approach, Maribeth excelled in every role she undertook.
In her career as a cognitive therapist, Maribeth offered solace and guidance to countless individuals
navigating the complexities of their emotions. Her genuine compassion and unwavering support
provided comfort to those seeking her counsel. As a landlady in real estate, she managed her properties
with the same warmth and understanding, earning admiration and respect from tenants and colleagues
alike.
Maribeth's legacy of compassion and empathy will forever live on through the lives she touched. She
leaves behind her devoted husband, Robert Herbert Nettleman, her sons Joel and Jonathan (Therese)
Nettleman, her cherished granddaughters, Remia and Avella and her beloved younger sister Joyce
(Dennis) Green. Her spirit of kindness and love will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to
know her.
Maribeth will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering kindness, and
boundless love for all. May she rest in eternal peace.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Maribeth's life and legacy, where friends and loved ones
can come together to honor her memory and share stories. Details of the service will be announced
shortly.
