Rothbury

Mark E. Rolf, 68, of Rothbury, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Mark was born April 18, 1953 in East Grand Rapids, Mich. He was raised in Cascade Township, Kent County, and married Nancy (Kortright) May 10, 1975.

Mark lived in Oklahoma until moving back to Michigan to settle in Rothbury in 1989. He worked in various jobs such as home construction, trucking, oil field storage and in a foundry before working as a mechanic at Sandy's Harley Davidson in Fremont for 15 years.

Mark is survived by his wife, Nancy; his children, Jessica Beggs and Jennifer Rolf; grandsons, Christofer Beggs and Aaron Rolf; his moms, Carol Brooks and Arlene Schoff; his siblings, Tom (Kelly) VanWyck, Greg (Merri) VanWyck, Robert (Theresa) VanWyck, John (Jan) VanWyck, Brian (Deb) VanWyck, Sherri (Steve) Charlebois, Terry (Marsha) Swenson, Marilyn Watson, Janet Armstrong, Tammy (Bob) Trottier and Sonya Ream; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, LeRoy VanWyck; sister, Kim VanWyck; and brothers, Mike and Jeff VanWyck.

A graveside service will be at Otto Township Cemetery on a date to be determined. Arrangements by Harris Funeral Home, Shelby www.harrisfhome.com.
