Matthew Morris Obituary
He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, and friend to all who knew and loved him. He was born on April 21st, 1972, in Charleston, WV to Archie O. Morris, II and Lela Aliff Pavlick.
Matthew was the youngest of three siblings, growing up in Charleston, WV and Ludington, where he graduated from Ludington High School. Matthew was gifted with a quick wit and a generous spirit.
He was gracious and kind to those who knew him and extended the same to strangers. Matthew was a big man with a big heart, a gentle giant, who was fondly nicknamed "Chewy".
He loved spending time with his friends playing video games and fantasy board games.
Matthew is survived by his father, Archie O. Morris, II of Huntington, WV, Step-Mother Sandra Morris of Huntington, WV, sister Anne McGee of Denver, CO, brother Christopher Morris of Hurricane, WV, son Ryan Foley of Walla Walla, WA, Step-Father John Pavlick of Southlake, TX and Step-siblings, Lisa Howse of Southlake, TX, Terri Helfrich of Richmond, VA, John Pavlick of Brooklyn, NY, and David Pavlick of East Brunswick, NJ.
Matthew is preceded in death by his mother Lela Aliff Pavlick.
A Memorial Service will be held later in New Haven, WV.

I remember just like yesterday I was down playing pool at the Alley bar and grill and we were all sitting around a table laughing and having a good time Man how the years go by. it said that we lose friends at such a young age but friends like chewy are the friends that stick around in your heart forever he was such a kind-hearted spirit and was always fun to be around

Matt man your going to be missed by so many people that you touched over the years. I appreciate the time I got to know you. Shawn is going to miss you he enjoyed so much the time he got to spend with you these last months while doing the papa visits. Truly an awesome soul full of knowledge about almost anything.
