Dear Schaub Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of Mike. I grew up alongside the Schaub’s, where we all spent many summers as lifeguards at the neighborhood pool. Mike was always the most skilled on the diving board and always had a football nearby to toss around.
When Mike left for college we all knew he was destined to be amazing at whatever he set his mind to do. Reading the many heartfelt condolences regarding his military career and his medical practice, it’s clear he was amazing. My prayers go out to you as you start this journey ahead of you. Blessings and peace to your aching hearts.

Dear Schaub Family. My deepest condolences on Mike’s passing. I only knew Mike from our year together at Ft. Leavenworth, KS, while we were in the same student section. He brought a lot of levity and humor to our studies, and I have fond memories of our time together.

Mike was my roommate in Company B3 at West Point for five semesters. He was an extremely smart and hardworking man who very quickly figured out that he wanted to be an Army doctor. From that point forward, he devoted all of his energy toward that goal - which he easily achieved. We met again at Fort Bragg, where his family assisted us when we first moved there. I was very surprised to hear of his death - our family's prayers are for his family in this challenging time.
