Lonie Marie Wuolle, 72

Lonie Marie Wuolle, 72, of Kellogg, ID, passed away on September 13, 2023 at the Schneidmiller Hospice House in Coeur d'Alene, ID. Lonie was born on April 8, 1951 in Coeur d'Alene, ID, a daughter of the late Matt and Pat (Miller) Wuolle. She was raised in Cataldo, ID, the oldest of five brothers and two sisters and made it known that she was the boss.

Lonie graduated from Kellogg High School, Class of 1969, and went on to become a preschool teacher in Coeur d'Alene. She then moved back to Kellogg where she worked for the Kellogg Chamber of Commerce and also as a bartender.

She was a funny and feisty sister. When Lonie's COPD made working impossible, she spent her time reading, crafting, cooking, and crocheting and excelled in them all. The little ones at her apartment complex all received crocheted holders for their freeze pops. She also made hats for anyone who needed one and blankets for the new babies.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Doug Wuolle; sister in-law, Roma Wuolle; and a brother in-law, Larry Ross.

Survivors include her son, Dane Wuolle, whom she relied on; and her grandson, Adam, whom she spoiled and loved so very much. Lonie is also survived by six siblings, Karen Ross, Mike Wuolle, Wayne (Lorraine) Wuolle, David (Veronica) Wuolle, Craig (Jamie) Wuolle, and Nancy (Frank) Bates; and numerous aunts, nieces, and nephews.

Everyone she met all have "Lonie" story or had been "Lonied". We all loved her immensely and will miss having her in our lives.
