Wesley Perkins Obituary
Wesley John Perkins, 69, of Kingston, ID, passed away on March 24, 2023 at Shoshone Medical Center, Kellogg. Wesley was born on May 7, 1953 in Redding, CA, a son of the late Wesley Arthur Perkins and Yvonne Carol (Travis) Perkins.
Wesley worked as a miner and logger for many years in the Silver Valley. He loved hunting, camping, and fishing, but his greatest joy in his life was spending time with his grandchildren. Wesley never let life keep him down and was always adapting and overcoming obstacles that came his way. He was the rock and glue of the family that kept everyone together and going.
In addition to his parents, Wesley is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Lyons; brother, Michael Perkins; and sister in-law, Christine Perkins.
Survivors include his children, Wesley Brian Perkins of Kingston, ID, Sunshine Lyons of Kingston, ID, Camisha Evans of Kansas, Stephenie Evans of Kansas, and Yodi Sowinksi; and a brother, Randy Perkins of Kellogg, ID.
At Wesley's request, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.

Father of Stephanie Dawn Perkins/Evans 1974; Became a father again in 1975 to Camisha Evone Perkins/Evans & then God gave him the gift of Wesley Brian Perkins in 1980 ; I believe He was one of top Jippo miners in Silver Valley & will never forget all trials & enjoyment in our lives. We hunted regulary together & used meat for our families food or skinned & prepped for several others in the Valley; He will be highly missed & hopefully never forgotten. He would give anyone the shirt off his back if they were cold; but they had to ask as he wasnt thrilled to but into a persons life unless they asked him?
