Aaron Savoie Obituary
He was born on July 13, 1985 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He graduated from Evangel Christian Academy in 2004, where he played fullback for the 2002 state champions. After graduating, he worked along side his father in the restaurant and catering business.
Aaron had many passions throughout his life. He enjoyed playing football, wakeboarding, working out and hanging out with his friends and family. After his playing career ended, he never missed an opportunity to watch his younger brother play the game he loved. He always had an outgoing personality and a big heart. He will be greatly missed by his many family and friends.
Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Thompson and Clarence Savoie.
He is survived by his parents, Gerald and Lisa Savoie; older brother, Adam Savoie and wife, Erin; and younger brother, Zachary Savoie; grandparents, Dolly Thompson and Lucille Savoie; as well as several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Regan Burns, Chris Williams, Dustin Edmonds, Brandon Jackson, cousins, Ryan, Trey and Craig Thompson.
The family request that memorials be made to Shreveport Community Church, 5720 Buncombe Road, Shreveport, LA. 71129.

Gerald and Lisa, I was so saddened to hear about Aaron's passing and was unable to attend the funeral as I have been laid up with mono. It seems so surreal for someone who always had so much life, fight, passion and drive to be gone from this world way to soon. I will always remember my time getting to coach Aaron and during that time, getting to see the amazing parents that you have always been to him. I cant imagine what it must be like to bury your son, however, I will keep you and the boys in my prayers.
