BOSSIER CITY, LA - A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Dr. Randy Harper, Pastor of Bellaire Baptist Church, will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Duke was a member of Bellaire Baptist Church for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Duke; parents, Henry and Gertrude Evans; brothers, Kendrick , Buford, Bill and Charles Evans.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Cormier and husband Don and Nancy Duke; grandsons, Clint Cormier and wife Stacey, Adam Cormier and wife Jana; great grandchildren, Caleb, Joshua, Julie and Jude Cormier.

Pallbearers will be Don Cormier, Clint Cormier, Adam Cormier, Ronnie Graham, Wayne Evans and Greg Brose. Honorary pallbearers will be Buford B. Evans, Alan Evans and Mike Evans.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, American Heart Association and the Baptist Children's Home.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at the Cottages at the Glen, the staff on the 3rd floor of Highland Hospital and special thanks to Teri.
