Beatrice Dupree Obituary
SHREVEPORT, LA- Funeral services for Beatrice Antwine Dupree, 87, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday April 4, 2012 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Jerry Hodge. Interment will follow in Forest Park St. Vincent Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at the funeral home.
Beatrice was born on December 17, 1924 in Bonham, TX to Ettie and James Antwine. She passed away at the Grace Home on March 31, 2012. She was a resident of Shreveport and a retired nurse. She was a member of University Church of Christ Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William Colbert Dupree, Jr.; son, Mark Alan Dupree and her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Terri Hooker; grandchildren, Cory, Clint and Cody Hooker and Johnathan and Nathan Dupree; great-granddaughter, Abbigail Cadence Hooker; nephews, Larry Bunch, Jimmy Husley and Dan Earl Russel; niece, Linda Robertson.
Pallbearers will be Cory Hooker, Cody Hooker, Clint Hooker, Jacob Johnson, Larry Bunch and Cody Holoman.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Guest House.

Thinking of you, Terrie, in the loss of your sweet Mother. Will always remember how attentive you were to Grant when he was only a couple of years old...and how you would sit with us at Southern Hills Church of Christ. Wish we could have been at the service.

Mrs Dupree was a great resident when she lived at the place I worked. I enjoyed getting to know her and grew to love her. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you.
