Doc Garrett was a true man of "Character" A man of few words-however seemed always to say what he meant AND meant what he said! My life was surely touched by Doc Garrett. My deepest sympathy goes to all the family but especially my good friend Chuck.

I extend sincerest condolences to the family of Dr. Charles H. Garrett.
He truly was a “One of a Kind” man, a statesman and a kind humanitarian, who gave back to his community and his parish in full measure. The Town of Jonesboro, Jackson Parish and all who knew him will miss this great man.
Charles it was a true pleasure to have known you. May GOD grant you eternal rest and your Family strength at this time of sorrow.
Cherish his memory. A man is not dead until he is forgotten.
Blessed are they who mourn for they shall be comforted.
