Christian Stapleton Obituary
"The Sacred Collie"
Shreveport, LA - Christian Stapleton Jr, beloved husband, father, and grandfather died on December 29, 2014 in Shreveport, La at the age of 68. Christian was born in Ruston, La on April 18, 1946 to Christian William and Dorothy Maxwell Stapleton Sr.
Christian was a graduate of Louisiana Tech and attended the University of Maryland with a degree in meteorology. He told the "daily lie" for 40 years - 25 at the National Weather Service in Shreveport. His love for his children took him to thousands of softball and football games.
Christian Stapleton Jr. is survived by his wife of 339 months, Lee Ann, his son Christian III and wife Emily, his daughter Heather, his granddaughter Victoria, brother Emory and wife Denise Stapleton of Greenville, SC, and various nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Bernard and Dr. Self as well as Nurses Ann and Cheryl of the Hospice of Shreveport-Bossier.
Memorial services will be held on January 5, 2015, at 10 AM at Aulds Funeral Home on East Kings Hwy. The family will receive friends and family after the services at home.
