Christopher Foshee Obituary
Christopher Allen Foshee was born January 24, 1992 in West Monroe, LA to Elizabeth and Richard Foshee, Jr. He passed away on June 16, 2014 in Natchitoches, LA at the age of 22. Christopher attended Ouachita Christian School, St. Mary's School, and Natchitoches Central High School. He obtained his G.E.D. in May of 2011. In his short life, Christopher left a lasting impression on all those who knew and loved him. Christopher faced the struggles of life as best he could, he enjoyed shooting his guns and hunting, but his greatest joy was spending time with his beloved dog. He had a tender spot for the underdog, with whom he seemed to relate.
Services for Christopher will be held Friday, June 20, 2014 at the Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA at 2:00 PM with Reverend Charlotte Birdwell officiating. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery at Natchitoches, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Friday, June 20, 2014 from 1:00 PM until service time at the Funeral Home.
Christopher leaves behind with cherished memories a host of family and special friends. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Sidney B. Evans, Sr., Lillian K. Evans, James Maples, Sr., James L. Neal, Louise L. Neal, and his grandfather, Richard Earl Foshee, Sr. He is survived by his parents, Elizabeth (Beth) and Richard Foshee, Jr., two brothers, Matthew and Richard III, his grandparents Evelyn and Sidney Evans, Jr. and Ernestine Foshee Allen and husband Ray, and great-grandmother Imogene Maples. He is also survived by his "adopted" sister Brandice Dykes, and two nieces "Little Dinosaur" Ripplie and Piper. His aunts and uncles include Sherrie and Steve Graf, Angie and Steve Kelly, Sidney and Joelle Evans, Allen and Serenity Evans, and John and Kris Evans. He will be sorely missed by his numerous cousins.
Honoring Christopher as pallbearers will be Sidney Evans, Allen Evans, John Evans, Steve Graf, Mark Busby, and Eddie Jordan. "We are all so much more fragile than we know-because what we feel and do can hardly be understood apart from our past and present life circumstances…we must all bear in mind, 'There, but for the grace of God, go I."
