Dale and I were high school buddies and had reconnected briefly when we both lived in Shreveport. I just became aware of Dale's passing today, 8/14/20, when I was looking him up on the internet. Dale was a great friend growing up. My condolences to Pamela and the family.

PpDale was such a sweet man. I got the privilege l to Play softball for Dale when I was young and his love and kindness did not go on noticed. He made a lasting impression on me and I will cherish those memories. He would always stop and get us a snowcone when he took me home after practice. LI wish I was able to make it to the funeral to show my love, respect and appreciation for the man he was. I will be praying for Gods peace and comfort to surround the family at this time.

My father, Ken Treadway, worked at Heritage Credit after he retired. He loved Dale like a son and Dale always treated him like family. I will be forever grateful for the love and friendship Dale bestowed on my father. Dale was a gracious and loving man that will live on in my familys hearts. Our deepest sympathies to Pam, Brooke, and Chris.

My memories of Dale are attached to their grooming/boarding business. Unfortunately, the disease had already taken a toll on him. I do recall that the dogs loved him, and there was usually one or more sitting in his lap. I have often said that dogs are good judges of character. I know yall will miss him.

I was new to Shreveport and met Chris. Through Chris welcoming ways, I met Dale, Pam, and Brooke. Together, they welcomed me into their family activities of boating, movies, golf, meals, and more. They were the family I had been missing since leaving NY. They filled my life with joy and togetherness at a difficult time in my life.
Pop and I grew our relationship both with the family and in business; doing a couple real estate deals together. He was always supporting me with advice without being pushy, providing mentorship in his quiet and wise way, and offering encouragement throughout our endeavors.
Through my tears with Chris some days ago, I described Pops passing as being unfair and asking rhetorically why did God take Pop from us while allowing others to stay here on earth that gave so little to others? I now know that the answer is simple... He has bigger plans for Pop in heaven.
I can still feel the warmth of his hugs and the sound of his calm, steady voice in my ear; still encouraging me through this and reassuring me that hes ok and in a better place.
Pop, you influenced my life. Thank you for the love you showed to me as an extension of Chris. Thank you for demonstrating to a young man what leading a loving family and giving grace to others looks like. Your legacy lives on in me and in the love that my family has for each other and their extended friendships.
You will be missed.

I was never fortunate to meet Dale, but the way his daughter talked about him leaves me knowing that I would have been privileged to know him. My heartfelt condolences go out to the Edney and Ibi families. Rest peacefully, Dale.

Dale was a great man with a big heart and a helping hand for all. He coached many girls and was always patient with them.
