Denise Gauthier

SHREVEPORT, LA A Mass of Christian Burial for Denise Gauthier will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 31, 2008, at St. Michael The Archangel Chapel at The Cathedral of St. John Berchmans. Officiating will be Father Charles Glorioso. Interment will follow in Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent Avenue.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday evening with a Vigil service at 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel.

Denise was born October 3, 1951 in Shreveport, LA and passed away on May 25, 2008. She was a professed member of the Secular Order of the Discalced Carmelites and a Parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. A graduate of C.E. Byrd High School, Denise was a registered nurse receiving her degree from Northwestern School of Nursing. Family and friends will miss her dearly.

Left to cherish beautiful memories are her sister, Michele Gauthier; brother, George M. (Buddy) Gauthier; sister-in-law, Nancy Gauthier; nieces and nephews, Celeste, Wesley, Heather and Brandon Gauthier, Denise Dickson, Leanore Guthrie and her aunt, Donna Muirhead.

Memorials may be made to the St. Joseph Catholic Church Renovation Fund, 200 Patton Ave., Shreveport, LA 71105. Rose Neath Marshall St.

I have not seen Denise since high school, but I have fond memories of her. She was a very sweet, caring person.
