Doris Holden Obituary
MANSFIELD, LA. Celebration of life services for Mrs. Doris Gafford Holden, 74, will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Mansfield Auditorium, 109 Richards St. Mansfield, La. Pastor Odell Pennywell, officiating. Interment will follow at Carver Memorial Cemetery in Shreveport, La. Family visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m., Friday at Heavenly Gates.
Mrs. Holden entered into eternal rest on December 12, 2016 after a brief illness.
She is survived by her husband; Edward T. Holden, 7 daughters, 3 sons, 9 sisters, 2 brothers, 37 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Special thanks to the ICU staff of Willis Knighton Pierremont, family friends, and coworkers.

She was truly a lovely woman & an awesome teacher! She taught me in the 4th grade & gave me everything I needed to pass along with letting me if you wanted something bad enough you were going to have to work for it ! Rest on Mrs. Holden. Prayers to your family and love ones!
